As the era of “covert” influence has ended and we charge headlong into the age of overt extraction. Through food, water, toxins, and engineered volatility, they are squeezing the human resource until it’s dry. If you’re still waiting for a savior or a political cycle to reset things, I’m sorry but you’re the product!

And if you think the system is “inept,” you’ve missed the point—it’s performing exactly as designed. The only person who can effect change is YOU. But let’s be clear: this realization that you’re simply a balance sheet line item, it can either paralyze you, or it can activate you. That’s where the “Positivity as a Strategic Weapon” we discussed in NL #9 comes in. We aren’t talking about “happy-clappy” delusion. We’re talking about high-octane fuel for active problem-solving. As our good friend and Maverick, Nick Hudson recently reminded us, the real battles aren’t fought in the echo chambers of news—they’re fought by individuals who maintain their clarity and integrity when the herd loses its mind. Positivity is the “Zone” where truth doesn’t paralyze you; it activates you to survive.
And here’s the good news — this is our “Collective Defense”. You can no longer simply go it alone. ASSET DIVERSIFICATION: The “Matter” Economy
Craig Tindale has written a couple of top notch peices, positing that we’ve entered an era of systemic energy-driven collapse, where investments into hard assets & commodities are no longer simply a speculative investment strategy but the fundamental requirement for structural survival. The butterfly effect of structural supply shocks, ripple their way through every aspect of the economy, creating a casading effect into higher prices for everything.
Critical Materials: A Strategic Analysis
Craig’s work caught my eye as we watched the first few days of Operation Fluffy Fury; I was deep in analysis and research with my Gab AI, analysing the impact of $100, $300 and eventually $500 oil! And yes, you read those numbers correctly, solid chartists NorthStar Bad Charts, along with Gradhy Commodity and Trading cycles, align with many of the fundamental macro analyst, that $100 is the new floor and this cycle plays out to well over $500/bbl oil; and not just a spike, but years if not the decade ahead.
These numbers take oil from speculative investment to breaking the entire global economy! We’ve written previously of these periods of great change — The Fourth Turning, Revolutionary & Empire cycles — they re-write the lines on the map, upturn global control and sadly the balance sheet destruction is a casualty of such events (recall your just a balance sheet line item)!
As Chris so delicately puts it; hes’ two balls — neither crystal! But we have been banging on about the inevitability of the decline, recall we’ve got $300 Trillion (with a T) of debt to wipe out, before they reset! So expect the crazy to get crazier!
That’s the foundational layer over at Subvertere Capital, where we’ve built an investment thesis modelled on Maslow’s most fundamental in his heirarchy of needs; food – shelter – energy! While we’ve sourced and executing on outstanding investment opportunities, the reality firmly planted in our minds, is how do these assets play out when Mad Max is rolled out! And we’re pretty confident, they’ll be just fine!
We’re building institutional sovereignty to bypass the inevitable failure of the globalized, brittle supply chain that Tindale describes. “Return of Matter” thesis is our playbook. The world is bifurcating into “digital services” (controlled/fragile) and “physical matter” (real/defiant) and we’re taking the bet that the real economy wins out over the tech world (looking at you AI)!
Our private deals—like Añelo Oasis and Riverland Ag and Terra Oil— these aren’t just “investments”, they are physical positions in the “physical” economy. We are positioning for a reality where energy is expensive and food production is scarce. If the system fragments, the only things that hold value are the physical energy and food production you own, a roof over your head would be nice! And to press the point here, you actually own the commodities these assets produce, not a paper derivative or “share” of the asset in the digital world!
