The Mavericks Creed

We find ourselves in a time of debt slavery, war, displacement, manipulation, corruption, broken ecosystems, widespread surveillance, nihilist values, socialized impoverishment, and bipartisan tyranny.

While most believe the situation is hopeless, we, at Mavericks know it is not. We believe in the right to personal liberty, supremacy of the individual, freedom of choice, property rights, the choice of money, equality under law and we define the role of leadership and role of the state. We represent a group of thinkers and builders aiming to create our own society with shared values and like-minded peers.

Our mission is neither optional nor guided by chance, it is born out of necessity:

• We believe that only individuals have rights, and any collective groups rights come from their individual rights; that these rights are intrinsic to each individual, not granted by the state. One of the greatest threats to freedom is to allow any group, no matter its numeric superiority, to deny the rights of the individual.
• We believe that desirable social and economic objectives are better achieved by voluntary action than by coercion of law. Social tranquility and brotherhood are achieved by tolerance, persuasion, and the power of good example. Those in need are better served by charity than by welfare.
• We believe that private property is a human right, essential for prosperity, justice, and freedom. The human instinct for private property is a positive force that provides an incentive for production, which is necessary for the material support of mankind.
• We believe in freedom to accept or reject any currency, or other forms of money, based entirely upon our personal judgment of its value.
• We believe that all citizens should be equal under law, regardless of their national origin, race, religion, gender, education, economic status, life style, or political opinion. Likewise, no class should be given preferential treatment, regardless of the merit or popularity of its cause.
• We believe that leadership is a natural outgrowth of human dynamics and is essential for social order and large-scale tasks. We only accept a leadership based on persuasion and good example, found in voluntary organizations and free political systems. We offer those who join us a liberated territory where discussions are uncensored, passionate and respectful, trade is unrestricted and serves to better society without feeding the current leadership or state.
