Dear Mavericks,

Welcome to a new edition of our Mavericks monthly newsletter. This letter is designed to keep you informed of everything going on in the Mavericks universe, both past, present, and future; a bit of a one-stop shop to stay informed about Mavericks.

Before diving into the content, an important reminder: this newsletter is the only email you’ll receive to tell you about upcoming events or webinars, so if something grabs your attention, mark it in your calendar NOW!

To ensure you don’t forget about the live webinars, here’s a simple way to add them to your personal calendar (this works well with IOS and Android, and MacBooks). From the Mavericks Social platform, just click on the webinar of interest and look for the option to “Download Events ical”. Click this and save it to your calendar.

      Join us in Texas this November for our next immersive Mavericks experience. The event blends ranch culture with practical investment workshops, featuring sessions on hard asset investing, portfolio construction, and private equity opportunities. This will be one of our most dynamic in-person gatherings, so save the dates now and stay tuned for registration details.
  • Our last in-person events – We recently wrapped up 3 events.
    • Cayman Islands – We recently hosted our first main event for 2025 events in the lovely Cayman Islands. We have tons of resources from the event available in our Socials group, including presentations, audio, and photos. We have also just released our Cayman Booklet, which you can view here. 
    • Locarno, Switzerland – Back in May, we had a couple of Mavericks’ host one of our Ambassador events in the scenic Locarno, Switzerland. We have presentations and photos up here.
    • Bali, Indonesia – In April, Jamie McIntyre hosted our first Ambassador event in lovely Bali. He hosted this at his own villa with some incredible days of activities and speakers. You can view all content from this event here, as well as the booklet here.

Repository of Past Webinars

To make it easier to browse through all the past webinar replays, we created a dedicated channel inside Mavericks Social where we linked all webinars from the recent past. You will find it next to the other groups, here. If you want to receive notifications every time we post a webinar there, simply join this group.

Furthermore, we created a YouTube channel that mirrors our self-hosted Peertube video library for all publicly available Mavericks content. You can find the channel here. If you have friends you’d like to introduce to Mavericks Project, this channel can be a great starting point.

Mavericks Social Forum

Featured content on the most active groups included: 

  • A group of Mavericks are discussing some of the AI research options out there, instead of the non-privacy-oriented and a little too much ‘personality’, ChatGPT. Check out some of their options. 
  • Fellow Maverick, @boqurant, is sharing his tips and tricks on computing hygiene. He shares his recommended VPNs and content blockers, as well as discussing Proton VPN. Go follow up on the suggestions.
  • @apf shares a great article on how the de-banking issue has recently started affecting wealthy conservatives across the USA. Read about it here.
  • And @wilder shares his presentation on Crypto banking as a digital nomad.
  • A bunch of other Mavericks are discussing virtual SMS and VOIP services and numbers. A ton of different platforms are being explored and mentioned, with @boqurat sharing his findings. Learn about some of the options here.

Mavericks Parallel Economy Update

Not long ago, we announced the launch of Mavericks Parallel Economy – a directory comprised of contacts and services offered by fellow Mavericks or their trusted providers.

If you have a service or a business you wish to post, it is super simple. 

  • Go to the directory page in Mavericks Social here 
  • Click Add Listing and fill in all details. 
  • Once you submit, Mavericks Admin will review and publish. 

If you wish to offer a discount to fellow Mavericks, please reach out to us to facilitate this.

The First Iteration of our MOBILE APP is now live!!
We have recently launched the Mavericks Social app. This app uses the PWA approach, which gives us more customisation on app features. To install it, follow these steps:

• 1st – go to the Mavericks Social site on your mobile browser:
https://social.mavericksproject.org/
• 2nd – in the browser menu, click ‘Add To Homescreen’ and follow your browsers instructions
• 3rd – You’re In! You can now set you notification preferences within the app and your phones settings.
