The Hanseatic League… of Mavericks

MF · 26/03/2024 ·

“When the chips are down, [Mavericks] stand up tall. That’s who I needed around me… This is a Davos for humanity.”

– Chris Macintosh

Even at this early stage, Mavericks Project already has a pretty good idea of what we need to achieve. Several Mavericks liken our efforts to the creation of a modern-day Hanseatic League. The Hanseatic League of antiquity was a transnational organization of enlightened, prosperous businessmen, and adventurers who did nothing less than build an entirely new and better world. That’s about the sum of it. But how? This past week’s Mastermind calls gave plenty of insight. If you break it down, it looks like this:

Banking and Blockchain… Food Security… Residencies and Citizenships… Investments/Income Assets/Real Estate… Legacy Preservation and Education.

Several members have plans in motion that address many of these critical areas. You will be hearing about them shortly – and by all means let us know if you have an idea, contact or way to move the ball down the field.

Our task is to build a parallel everything. From online communications to transacting commerce… from where we live… to how we feed ourselves… how we travel… how we can generate income… and continue building wealth. These are daunting tasks for a daunting time. But Mavericks members are up to the challenge and already on the job.

Here’s just a smattering of what was heard and said on this week’s call…

  • Nick Hudson talked about the “inevitable failure of centralizing projects” with the kind of wit and insight that makes it clear why he is a person of interest to authorities in his native South Africa. Nick’s is a first-class intellect beautifully articulated. You can go here to see what I mean. But Nick wasn’t the only one this week to sound the alarm about the inevitable failure of globalist plans. I will return to this at the end…
  • Ladislas (AKA The Wandering Investor) held forth about his many travels – pointing out the rather volatile nature of the people and nations in Central Asia and why they may or may not be a good choice for the survival-minded.
  • Nicholas, our man in Mexico, described how he scored 30 hectares at 0% financing for food production. (I (Tain) happen to know there is a fishing vessel attached to this plan… more to come.)
  • Bryan, our man in Moscow, is busy this week meeting with the President of Abkhazia to structure a land deal that includes residency and passports.
  • And “Jerm Warfare” Jeremy made a good case for Africa as a standout holdout for when things really come unglued. His podcast here is a useful mental exercise to help us envision what we are trying to accomplish – and the challenges we face.

In other words… it was just another regular Mastermind call for the Mavericks Project. Of course, we cannot highlight every gem or “aha” moment. That’s why we want you to attend. So we can get your input, and start to design actionable plans. The sooner the better.

How Can We Be More Like The Taliban?

No really… The Taliban. Setting aside the obvious character flaw of killing people who don’t agree with them – let us consider their admirable qualities. First, these buggers are hard to kill and resilient as hell. They survived the Soviet invasion and occupation… and won. And then turned around and survived the US occupation… and won. Why?

Because they are highly motivated toward a common cause… possess a mentality that brooks no denial… appreciate the power of sticking together… and took the time to create robust and resilient structures that allow them to keep operating no matter what the big boys throw at them. This is our challenge: To create robust, resilient structures so we continue to thrive.

Our mission is to plant the seeds and assist the birth of this decentralized new world – for ourselves and our own children. But also to offer our solutions to those who weren’t foresighted enough to anticipate the opportunity. We want to offer the kind of decentralized, autonomous options others will need – a parallel society promoting freedom and sovereignty. Others will follow. Our task is to get there first-est with the most-est… build the world we want to inhabit… and make a profit wherever possible.

This vision is already taking shape in the projects that Chris, Paul, Nicholas, Bryan, Rich, Tain and others are working on in their respective parts of the world. If you have an opinion or a lead about where to look next, let us know.

And if you know someone else who fits the Maverick archetype, consider inviting them as well.

In Conclusion:

The fastest way to set up our own Hanseatic League is to partner with existing efforts. That’s where we need all of you. Each of you knows people who can help. Each of us is capable of individual excellence. Now, the times require a concerted effort to man the oars and pull with a will in the same direction. Reach out to me, Andrew or Denisa when you have ideas or can make a connection.

The next order of business is to take our communications dark. Look for our upcoming Knowledge Series.

We still have a window of calm in which to act – though no one knows how long it will remain open. Most of our sources agree, the digital prison of CBDCs is not complete. If and when CBDCs arrive (and surely they are coming), everything is bound to become more difficult or perhaps even impossible. That’s why this window of opportunity is so precious.

Next Steps and News at a Glance…

Next Mastermind Call Date:
