The Mavericks Project invites members and friends to connect during an intensive, 4 day workshop, in the heart of Istanbul, Turkey. The focus will be on navigating the uncertain future before us.

This is not a typical “conference”. It’s closer to a cartel formed exclusively to navigate the huge issues making the future uncertain.

You will have the option to stay at the conference event location, Swissôtel The Bosphorus, with discounted room rates for four nights. However, you can choose to stay in another hotel of your choice. Event pricing is structured for both options.

Note: the hotel pricing is for four nights, single occupancy in a mix of Bosphorus and garden view rooms. For extended stays either side of the event (same guaranteed rate), room upgrades, or adding partners/children (at an additional expense) please reach out to us to coordinate these changes.

Why I’m Attending
Chris Macintosh from Capitalist Exploits along with friends and colleagues from The Mavericks Project will be in attendance and would like to invite you along to join us.
Guiding Principles
All Attendees have the following traits and world views in common:
INDIVIDUAL VS STATE

How It Will Work
When you put smart people in a room, great things happen. Each day will comprise of talks or roundtables, followed by intensive periods of group discussion to capture anything of value that can be shared. There is no hierarchy, there are no “gurus”. Speakers will be among attendees discussing the solutions to the problems we all face.
| EXPERT GUESTS WILL PRESENT Friends of The Mavericks Project who have specialist knowledge in the topics covered will attend the event and present in their area of specialty, either as a keynote or a roundtable with multiple participants. |
| FOLLOWED BY WORKSHOPS All attendees will then be split into breakout groups to discuss the key issues and share their knowledge/experience/thoughts on the matter at hand. An elected member will capture important notes. |
| AND A PROJECT BUILDING DAY Within Mavericks HQ, we’ve been working on a number of projects, some of which evolved from the Dubai event and some from the founding group of Mavericks. This day will be an opportunity to present, discuss, and brainstorm these projects and get other members involved. In Dubai, we found this day to be the most impactful and purpose-oriented of the three days. |

Over the years, we’ve found and used many services to help us establish assets or entities in Turkey. These contacts will be shared with attendees for the purpose of making the most of the trip.
Friends and Family Invite
We encourage participants to bring your partners along to this event, many of the topics we discuss and the decisions we are making affect our loved ones. While they may not want to sit through the entire mastermind series, however being part of the social events and meeting some of your like-minded yet crazy friends, is an empowering process.
We have build a social ticket, which invites partners along to the several social events we’re running, plus we’ll also organize an event on the first day of the mastermind series for partners. We’ve organised a Maverick friend who runs a tour company in Istanbul to take you out for the day to see the major sights of Istanbul along with a local lunch. Then you can self organize into groups for the other days of the event.
