Hey Mavericks…
We’ve had a few stops and starts finding our way, but the core purpose of Mavericks has remained – to connect people, projects and communities who share a common worldview toward building a better future for us & our families.
So we packaged up the Mavericks philosophy and tested our thesis on an invited group of Chris Macintosh’s clients from his fund and subscription service business with an inaugural event last week in Dubai. Sort of lab testing on Guinea Pigs!
Wow – what an event! The thesis rings true and our Mavericks archetypes are screaming to connect and seek out opportunities to invest, share, learn and grow! Emotionally and financially.
New friends were made… knowledge was shared … solutions were discussed … and a future was laid out! Most importantly, we enlarged our community of successful, independent thinkers.
Ivor Cummins kicked things off with a look at the Grand Chessboard – detailing the players (monsters really) behind the nonsense destroying the West…
Alex Krainer and Simon Hunt gave their geopolitical overview of the social, political and war cycles of history – and where we are in this cycle…
The always entertaining George Gammon shared his take on banking risks and the Fed – ending with some advice on how to neutralize the influence of Central Banks on your life and wealth…
Then Brad McFadden, Eliot Goodfellow and Peter Von Irle talked about money and finance – and the best personal structures to protect your wealth…
And that’s just day one – before lunch!
Other topics at our three-day gathering included Freedom Movements around the world… food security… and how to stay out of your doctor’s office.
Joel Smally also gave a tour de force talk on blockchain solutions, online privacy and the steps everyone should take to ensure Big Tech and Big Brother keep their distance.
It was an all-star performance by some very capable people. But the presentations were just the entre…
You see… this event wasn’t a normal conference where gurus stand around and dispense wisdom and everyone sits and nods in agreement.
We know all of you are plenty accomplished in your own lives or you wouldn’t be on this list reading this message.
We are Mavericks… which is why we did things a little differently…
So, the afternoon sessions consisted of breakout groups of eight to ten people – 100% focused on solutions.
Each group tackled a topic and discussed existing solutions… shared insights and resources… and brainstormed potential group collaborations and how to implement them.
Now, try to imagine the level of intensity and the air of excitement of being “stuck” in a five-star resort with other successful, brilliant, accomplished folks – every single one of them awake (but not “woke”), and you might come close to a mental picture of what just happened in Dubai.
What you can’t easily imagine is…
The deep bonds of connection that can only be felt and formed when good folks meet face to face.
And that’s why we are writing you this note…

The event proved our thesis, on so many fronts! The event gave everyone who attended a sharp focus, an energy which is indescribable and for Mavericks HQ, a drive to really push things into gear!
