While most believe the situation is hopeless, we, at Mavericks know it is not. We believe in the right to personal liberty, supremacy of the individual, freedom of choice, property rights, the choice of money, equality under law and we define the role of leadership and role of the state. We represent a group of thinkers and builders aiming to create our own society with shared values and like-minded peers. Our mission is neither optional nor guided by chance, it is born out of necessity: We believe that only individuals have rights, and any collective groups rights come from their individual rights; that these rights are intrinsic to each individual, not granted by the state. One of the greatest threats to freedom is to allow any group, no matter its numeric superiority, to deny the rights of the individual. We believe that desirable social and economic objectives are better achieved by voluntary action than by coercion of law. Social tranquility and brotherhood are achieved by tolerance, persuasion, and the power of good example. Those in need are better served by charity than by welfare.
